Do you perform better or worse when people around you show you that they believe in you?
Do you want the people around you to perform their best in their chosen endeavor?
Do you communicate, with sincerity, to the people around you that you believe in them?
What do you need to do differently to communicate this more effectively and more consistently?
What commitments will you make to do this more effectively?
My three commitments:
- I commit to giving individualized examples to people.
- I commit to giving in the moment feedback of specific examples of the characteristics that make me believe in that person.
- I commit to point out hidden gems that others may not notice but are representative of important abilities that are a sign of great performance. This helps people to realize that it is not simply empty praise.
